On September 27, Daniel T. McKillop, Esq. will moderate a panel of speakers at “Updates on Cannabis Laws & Business Opportunities in New Jersey,” an event hosted by the New Jersey CannaBusiness Association and co-sponsored by Scarinci Hollenbeck LLC. Mr. McKillop and his panelists will review current federal and state laws and policies pertaining to cannabis legalization, the status and future of cannabis legalization and the cannabis industry in New Jersey, and current and proposed legal requirements applicable to New Jersey cannabis industry participants.
Additional speakers at this event will include Senator Nicholas P. Scutari, author and lead sponsor of New Jersey’s current cannabis laws and proposed legislation, cannabis entrepreneur, Eugene Monroe, and Lindy Snider, Chair of Athletes for CARE, an organization founded by a group of professional athletes that advocates for research, education, and compassion when addressing important health issues facing athletes and the public at large. Former New Jersey and New York professional football and hockey figures Marvin Washington, Leonard Marshall, and Riley Cote, all of whom serve as Athlete Ambassadors for Athletes for CARE, will also attend.
