Over the years, Scarinci Hollenbeck, LLC attorneys have been involved in pro bono matters relating to important civil rights issues in New Jersey, such as representing the New Jersey State Bar Association as amicus curiae in the marriage equality litigation (Lewis v. Harris), and defending the Anti-School Bullying Act in a challenge before New Jersey’s Council on Local Mandates.
The Constitutional Law Reporter is an educational legal blog that updates regularly on case law and current events pertaining to constitutional law. The site also has educational information on Supreme Court Justices, Chief Justices and information about important Supreme Court cases.
Scarinci Hollenbeck is also a participant in New Jersey’s ReNew Program. Established by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey, ReNew is a prisoner reentry program created to assist former federal inmates transitioning back to society. The program was officially launched in January 2013 to help ensure that former inmates will succeed after their release from prison and not commit new crimes that would send them back behind bars. Scarinci Hollenbeck is on the list of pool firms from which participants will have the opportunity to choose.
