Roll Up Life, Inc. Named Finalist as 2022 Minority Business of the Year by NJ Cannabis Insider
Lyndhurst, NJ – July 5, 2022 – Scarinci Hollenbeck congratulates its client Roll Up Life, Inc. for being named a 2022 Minority Business of the Year at the annual NJ Cannabis Insider awards ceremony last month. Partner and Chair of the firm’s Cannabis Law practice Daniel T. McKillop represents Roll Up Life, Inc., which plans to apply for a license to operate as an adult-use cannabis delivery service.
Bringing Roll Up Life, Inc. to market proved to be a difficult task requiring careful navigation of a complex and evolving legal landscape in the business of cannabis. Dan and his team are continuing to assist Roll Up Life, Inc. in a variety of areas including corporate, real estate and strategic planning in order to secure its license. Daniel T. McKillop joined Scarinci Hollenbeck as Counsel in 2016, primarily handling environmental law matters. The following year, Mr. McKillop founded one of New Jersey’s first cannabis law practice groups and began counseling private entities regarding Federal, State and local cannabis law issues. He also began to speak extensively on panels covering a variety of developments in cannabis law. In recognition of his contributions and influence on the development of cannabis law in New Jersey, Mr. McKillop was named a 2018 Trailblazer in Cannabis Law by the National Law Journal. In 2021, Mr. McKillop was appointed by the NJSBA to serve on the organization’s Cannabis Law Committee. Most recently, Mr. McKillop helped create and now chairs the NJSBA’s Psychedelic Law Subcommittee.
