201-896-4100 info@sh-law.comRed Bank, New Jersey, February 8, 2017 – The Honorable Ronald Lee Reisner, who recently retired as a Superior Court judge in Monmouth County, has joined Scarinci Hollenbeck as “Of Counsel.” Judge Reisner brings decades of experience to his new post, both as a judge and a litigator. He is based in the firm’s Red Bank, New Jersey office. Judge Reisner will devote his practice primarily to alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, joining Ira Kreizman, J.S.C. (Ret.).
“My service as a judge has given me a comprehensive understanding of various areas of the law in New Jersey, and I am honored to bring that knowledge to Scarinci Hollenbeck,” said Judge Reisner.
During his tenure on the bench, Judge Reisner served in every Superior Court division, including family, civil, probate and criminal, and was responsible for the resolution of thousands of cases. He was assigned many high profile civil and criminal matters, including In Re Stockdale, a complex will contest, as well as several white collar and murder cases, such as State v. Suarez-Perez and State v. Bienkowski, where he imposed life sentences with no possibility for parole.
“Judge Reisner’s time on the bench, as well as his distinguished career as a litigator, give him a broad perspective. He is an asset to the firm,” said Russell Ascher, the firm’s Executive Director. “He brings experience in a vast array of legal areas, and has an exemplary reputation throughout Monmouth County.”
Judge Reisner started his legal career as a law clerk to Clarkson S. Fisher, Sr., Judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Among his many appointments, Judge Reisner served as the attorney for the Borough of Monmouth Beach as well as the Atlantic Highlands Planning Board. He also served as the attorney for the Marlboro, Rumson, and Shrewsbury Planning Boards, and as the attorney for the Townships of Old Bridge and West Windsor.
