    Patrick prepares complex real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale, joint venture, loan and lease agreements, as well as other transaction documents across all asset classes. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was affiliated with a Parsippany, NJ law firm where he represented real estate developers, sellers, purchasers and borrowers in a wide variety of real estate and land use matters. He also served as a zoning and land use counsel to many of the largest development projects in Jersey City and Hudson County, presenting dozens of development and subdivision projects before a number of local planning boards, zoning boards of adjustment, historic preservation commissions, and local community groups.

    Patrick earned his J.D. from University of North Carolina School of Law and undergraduate degree from Ohio State University.

    • Represented national real estate fund in $37 million purchase-leaseback transaction
    • Consulted for zoning and survey expertise in transaction for high profile client making a capital investment into an undeveloped waterfront parcel in Bergen County, New Jersey
    • Represented prominent New Jersey developer in $70 million purchase of development parcel in Jersey City
    • Represented buyer in purchase and construction financing for a multifamily building in the Van Vorst Park Historic District in downtown Jersey City
    • Researched and drafted zoning interpretation letter successfully advocating for a novel interpretation of a provision of the Journal Square 2060 Redevelopment Plan that led to an additional permitted story for a 31-story mixed-use tower

    • Drafted residential lease and commercial lease agreements for several large scale multifamily residential buildings, including state and development specific riders
